Our band rehearsals are at 6:00 PM Tuesdays in the Don Airey Hall at Christ Presbyterian Church, 3115 Dryer Ave, Largo. Directions below. Contact us before driving out, to make sure practice is scheduled.  We have fewer rehearsals in the summer months.

We also have a less formal chanter practice at 10:00 AM Thursdays at Taylor Park, Largo, usually in Shelter # 2. At this practice we focus on fundamentals, exercises, and learning new tunes. Everyone is welcome. If it's raining, colder than 55°F, or too hot, we move to the church hall. We have been meeting there this summer.  Contact us before driving a long distance to make sure practice will be held.

Directions:  To get to the church hall from the north or east, drive to East Bay Dr. and head west. East Bay changes to West Bay at the center of Largo. Continue another 2 miles and turn left at Indian Rocks Rd. Go about a mile and turn left on Dryer. Church is about 1/4 mile on the left.

From the St. Petersburg area, get on Alt 19 north, turn left on Ulmerton Rd., right on Wilcox Rd., right on Pine St., and left on Dryer. Church is about 1/4 mile on the right.

From St. Pete Beach, you can drive north on Gulf Blvd., right on Park Blvd., left on 131st St., and follow all the way to Dryer Ave. (the road becomes Vonn then Gladys). Right on Dryer, church is 100 yards on left.

Upon arriving, turn left when you enter the property and drive around to the back of the hall to park. Walk up the short driveway to the double doors.

Taylor Park address:  1100 8th Ave SW, Largo. Same general area as the church. From the north, take a left off East Bay Dr. onto Seminole Blvd (Alt 19), then a right on 8th Ave SW to the park. From the St. Petersburg area, continue north on Alt 19 past Ulmerton Rd., take a left on 8th Ave SW to the park. See map below, marked “Park Practices”.  We usually practice in Shelter #2.
